  2. ---- Meta-compiling the F83 kernel

  4. There is a small problem in meta-compiling the kernel using the
  5. F83.TOS that was uploaded.  Everything stops after loading
  6. META.BLK #21.  Meta-compiling is possible, however, by typing:

  8. 500 ALLOT  <cr>
  9. OPEN META.BLK  <cr>     \ <-- must be on disk with KERNEL.BLK
  10. 1 LOAD  <cr>
  11.  
  12. The number of bytes you allot seems to be important.  I found
  13. that 95 is the least number of bytes I can allot and still
  14. have it work using the Forth that was uploaded.
